Senior Social Media Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Producer to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our digital content team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging social media content that drives audience growth and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our on-air team to develop and implement social media strategies that align with our brand goals.
- Plan and create high-quality social media content, including videos, graphics, and written posts, that resonates with our audience.
- Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behaviors, and platform updates to ensure our social media presence remains current and effective.
- Engage with our audience across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage our social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Support our Head of Social in day-to-day planning and wider projects, and deputize for them during leave.
- Work with our wider network team on station initiatives and commercial projects.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proven experience in social media content creation and strategy.
- Excellent understanding of the digital landscape, particularly the creation of engaging, optimized content for various platforms.
- Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile, as well as confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members where necessary.
- Proactive, collaborative, and organized, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and experience in planning and scheduling content across them.
- Highly proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and apps like CapCut.
- Ability to film content using Canon or Sony video cameras is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to design social thumbnails and graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
- Confident social copywriter who can write in the Absolute Radio tone of voice.
- Knowledge of contemporary and classic rock and indie music is a must.
- Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
- Passion for radio, music, and comedy.
