Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement robust budgeting and forecasting models, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimization.
- Oversee the Payroll process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Manage the year-end statutory accounts process, collaborating with external accountants as required.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Streamline and improve accounting systems and operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement new financial processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop the finance function, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Professional qualification in accounting (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role.
- Strong IT and technology knowledge, with experience in financial systems and software.
- Commercial acumen and ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
