{"The Opportunity": "We are seeking a talented C++ Software Engineer to join our Sensors & Protection team, working on a range of defence projects. As a key member of our community of world-class software engineers, you will contribute to the development of new features and capabilities using innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints.
* Collaborate with other engineers to create market-leading products within the defence industry.
* Work on a range of defence projects, using a wide range of tools and methods.

What We Are Looking For:

* Understanding and knowledge of one or more of the following: C++ software development, development of new applications, familiarity with embedded development tools and approaches, knowledge of C language, experience with developing Windows & Linux applications, experience of using Iterative development lifecycles (for example tailored Agile), experience using tools associated with Iterative development lifecycles (Jira / DevOps), familiarity with development to design and coding standards.
