Job Description

Drivertemps is seeking experienced Class 1 day container drivers for regular work in the Southampton area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive container runs throughout the country
  • Work on day shifts or tramping, depending on preference
  • Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £16.00-£18 per hour, with minimum 10 hours paid per shift
  • Take advantage of paid breaks and flexible shift patterns
  • Work with a supportive team of experienced drivers and CPC trainers
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) driving license
  • Valid driver CPC and digital tachograph cards
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
  • Preferably 6 months container experience
  • Knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation
  • TAC (terminal awareness card) for Southampton docks
  • Good communication skills
  • Over 25 for insurance purposes
  • No more than 6 points on your license
