We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician/Mechanical Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for providing installation, inspection, commissioning, service, fault-finding, repair, and upgrade support to our customers on various types of topside and subsea drilling equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide on-site support and technical advice to customers on the operation of our equipment.
  • Ensure all relevant information is communicated to the onshore Field Operations team upon completion of assignments.
  • Offer general technical input to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment.
  • Maintain regular communication with the onshore services team while on assignment and during field breaks.
  • Arrange travel to and from assignments as required.
  • Submit accurate and timely documented expenses for each project.
  • Ensure timely completion of internal and external training.
  • Participate in and contribute to risk assessments, Safe Job Analysis (SJA), and HSE observation systems.
  • Be prepared to travel internationally for extended periods at short notice.
  • Be competent in reading engineering drawings and working to close tolerances.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of pressure testing systems.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently, planning and locally project managing when required.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Display a flexible working attitude.
  • Exhibit excellent team working skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.
