Compensation: Starting at £45,383+, based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform Engineering Design concepts into Manufacturing Engineering Data Packs (MDP) and Manufacturing Instructions (MI) for operational use.
- Identify opportunities for development and areas for ongoing enhancement.
- Contribute to the oversight of Quality and Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Systems related to Manufacturing Engineering processes and documentation, ensuring compliance with safe working methods and managing contractors and suppliers on-site.
- Assist in estimating tasks and making buy versus make decisions.
- Foster effective internal and cross-functional relationships to meet overall project requirements and support business cases aimed at improving performance and optimizing capital investment returns.
- Support the implementation of training and risk assessments associated with the Manufacturing Engineering discipline.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with relevant Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering standards and SHE regulations.
- HNC or equivalent qualification, with experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, or a Foundation degree with practical experience.
- Experience with SAP, TeamCentre, or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing processes.
