Position Overview:

Sanctuary Personnel is in search of a Clinical Team Leader (RGN) to oversee our dedicated nursing staff within a prominent charity focused on enhancing the quality of life for individuals affected by brain injuries throughout the UK. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with a background in specialized palliative or neurological care.

Primary Duties:
  • Direct the nursing team to improve care standards, offering guidance and support to colleagues and families while ensuring adherence to safe practices.
  • Oversee a designated group of service users, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, service users, and their families regarding care strategies.
  • Evaluate potential service users in partnership with the Head of Clinical Services/Ward Manager and Health/Social Services commissioners. Formulate, execute, and assess personalized care plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Keep precise and timely records of service user interactions in compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
  • Guarantee that all clinical personnel receive structured supervision and uphold the highest clinical standards through competency evaluations.
  • Recognize educational needs and promote staff development, creating a culture of continuous learning.
  • Deliver educational resources to patients, caregivers, families, and colleagues, sharing expertise and mentoring students.
  • Comply with all organizational protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure a secure working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and undertake reasonable additional responsibilities as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
  • Registered Nurse or equivalent degree-level qualification.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and persuasive skills in a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with current regulations in the independent care sector.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and with high motivation.
  • Strong communication skills, including the capacity to convey challenging messages.
  • Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to effectively manage change and performance.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring within a clinical context.
