Salary: Up to £55,000 annually

Omega is collaborating with a leading electrical and solar installation firm in search of a Senior Solar Panel Technician to enhance their rapidly growing workforce in the Southampton region and surrounding areas.

Key Duties – Senior Solar Panel Technician

  • Installation of solar photovoltaic systems on residential and commercial properties.
  • Arranging and aligning the panels according to the provided specifications.
  • Connecting and managing the direct current (DC) wiring.
  • Documenting installation progress with photographic evidence.
  • Filling out necessary documentation through our mobile application.

Qualifications & Skills – Senior Solar Panel Technician

  • Hands-on experience in the construction sector or related fields is preferred.
  • Possession of IPAF and telehandler certifications is a significant advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, precise, and process-driven approach to tasks.
  • Willingness to travel and work across various locations in the UK.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to interpret and execute detailed instructions, follow technical schematics, measure distances accurately, and perform calculations using a mobile device or calculator.
  • CSCS card and relevant site experience are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights.
