Overview:
First Military Recruitment Ltd is on the lookout for a proficient and meticulous Test & Inspection Electrician to enhance our client's workforce. The ideal candidate will be tasked with executing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial locations.

This position demands a thorough comprehension of electrical systems, strict compliance with safety standards, and the capability to pinpoint and document potential risks and compliance discrepancies.



Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute detailed Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in diverse commercial and industrial settings.
2. Assess and evaluate electrical systems, encompassing wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control apparatus.
3. Detect and record defects, non-compliance issues, and potential safety threats.
4. Generate clear and comprehensive reports outlining the status of electrical installations, including suggestions for corrective measures.

5. Ensure all evaluations are conducted in alignment with applicable standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.


6. Stay informed about industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
7. Communicate effectively with clients to clarify findings, respond to inquiries, and offer technical guidance.
8. Maintain and calibrate all inspection tools and equipment as necessary.
9. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
10. Engage in continuous training and professional development to enhance technical competencies.

Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related domain.
2. City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection and Testing.
3. NVQ Level 3 certification.
4. 18th Edition qualification.
5. Profound knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other pertinent standards and codes.
6. Strong grasp of electrical systems in commercial and industrial contexts.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Proficient in utilizing electrical testing tools and reporting software.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
11. Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.
12. Valid UK driving license.
