Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of components, materials, services, and subcontract manufacturing to ensure the continuity of supply at acceptable levels of quality, stock availability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing and Procurement: Source and purchase components, materials, services, and subcontract manufacturing to meet business requirements.
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize waste.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders on procurement activities, costs, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
