Position Overview:

Leigh Academy Minster is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Room Officer to enhance our exceptional pastoral team. The successful candidate will be committed to positively impacting the lives of young individuals by fostering strong relationships built on high expectations with both students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and supervise inclusion strategies as part of the academy's behavior management framework.
  • Educate and provide feedback on positive attitudes and social skills, promoting individual character development within our culture of academic excellence.
  • Encourage the significance of inclusion over exclusion among students, parents, and guardians.
  • Oversee and assist students in reflection rooms, ensuring they complete assigned tasks to a high standard while facilitating opportunities for behavioral reflection and improvement.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of inclusion strategies and report findings to the leadership team.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a calm, positive, and resilient demeanor, demonstrating approachability while maintaining authority. A passion for supporting young people and a desire for a fulfilling challenge are essential.

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position, requiring 37 hours of work per week during term time, with a salary range of £22,521 - £24,111 per annum, commensurate with experience.
