Mobile Operations Director

Job Summary:
The Mobile Operations Director will be responsible for leading the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum and the efficiency of the patrol routes is maximized. This individual will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other members of the Executive team to develop and implement strategies to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are controlled and the efficiency of the patrol routes is optimized.
- Work with the Executive team to develop and implement strategies to grow the business, including identifying opportunities to improve business processes and devising plans to implement these changes.
- Ensure that performance levels are monitored, managed, and communicated to the Mobile Team, including conducting weekly 1-2-1s to ensure all staff are fully trained and improving.
- Monitor all staff within the Mobile Team, including managing holidays and any HR-related issues, and implement a safety culture within the driving team.
- Ensure all processes are followed by Mobile staff, including implementing new service initiatives and designing, introducing, and implementing new service initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with sub-contractors and ensure excellent service delivery from the Mobile Team, including accurate reports, all shifts covered correctly, and all staff trained correctly.
- Ensure the SmartTask system is fully up to date and accurate at all times, including Runsheets, and ensure all sites have Assignment Instructions and clear guidance on how the Mobile Team needs to carry out their role.
- Deal with Client requests and changes at short notice promptly and efficiently, and ensure key audits are carried out on a quarterly basis.
- Monitor and manage all vehicles, including carrying out monthly client meetings (or as required) with Mobile clients and ensuring all commercial proposals are sent in a timely manner and updated once approved.
Requirements:
- SIA License and DBS check
- Mobile patrol experience is essential for this role
- UK driving licence with less than 6 current points
- Exceptional attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, including responding to emails and verbal requests in a timely and efficient manner
- An ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office)
