Your responsibilities;

As a Financial Management Specialist, you will be responsible for producing precise monthly financial reports for various business units and contracts. You will also:

  • Prepare forecasts and budgets in collaboration with operational managers, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across all contracts under your supervision.
  • Oversee general financial tasks such as invoicing and monitoring accounting systems.
  • Engage in all financial aspects of the business, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.



Key duties include;

  • Generating monthly financial statements for cost centers, reporting performance against budget
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost efficiency
  • Ensuring accurate accounting of inventory and assets to facilitate effective cost management
  • Conducting payroll audits to prevent discrepancies
  • Participating in the financial assessment of new contracts and business opportunities
  • Collaborating with the Regional Finance team to ensure accurate reporting of budgets and capital expenditures
  • Providing financial advice to operational management on various matters including costs and performance metrics
  • Offering guidance to administrative staff on financial procedures and conducting audits for compliance
  • Monitoring adherence to company financial policies and addressing any discrepancies
  • Managing all aspects of financial oversight within operational activities
  • Implementing new financial policies and procedures as directed by the group
  • Controlling expenditures and budgeting within your area of responsibility



What we seek;

  • Professional qualification from a recognized UK accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience with financial management systems (e.g., SAP, SAGE, Workday)
  • Ability to manage accounts across multiple sites
  • Experience in business partnering
