We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Hospitality to join our team at Bath College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, as well as contributing to the development and organisation of our curriculum area.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Learning: Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, monitoring assessment processes in accordance with awarding body requirements.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and organisation of our curriculum area, including core and additional programmes.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning.
- Communication: Communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students.
- Departmental Support: Work proactively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College.
- Qualifications: Qualified to at least a level 3 standard in a Culinary discipline or relevant industry experience.
- GCSEs: GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Food Safety: Food safety level 3.
