Job Title: Project Manager - Fire Remediation

We are partnering with a reputable Housing Association in Surrey to recruit a Fire Remediation Project Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline or be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience, as well as a full UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of a select portfolio of Fire and Building Safety remediation projects, ensuring compliance with statutory duties, regulations, and policy.
  • Manage the delivery of appointed consultants in relation to remediation projects, monitoring performance and driving value for money.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer service to all customers, including managing complaints.
  • Work closely with Resident Liaison Officers to ensure accurate monthly updates are provided to residents in relation to remediation projects.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure project risks are mitigated, risk registers are reviewed and updated regularly, and when necessary, escalated to the Senior Management Team.
  • Continually monitor and inspect Fire Remediation projects throughout the duration of the works, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with the specification, to a good standard.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Social Housing.
  • Experience working with customers within housing.
  • Relevant Fire Safety Qualification (e.g. IFE, IFSM, CIOB Level 6 in Fire Safety for Construction, etc).
  • NEBOSH.
  • Full driving license.

Working Arrangements:

  • Hybrid working.
  • Flexible working days.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm.
