Job Title: Qualified Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a key member of our social care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adults with disabilities in Harrow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive social care assessments and reports, with detailed support plans, as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement effective support plans, working closely with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake Care Act assessments, CHC assessments, and other relevant tasks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Direct Payments, the continuing healthcare process, and relevant legislation.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and other professionals, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience of working in a Qualified Social Worker - Adults with Disabilities position within the UK Social Care industry.
  • Registration with the Social Work England (SWE) and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance and a minimum of 1 year post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.
