SRM Recruitment is proud to partner with a reputable, European-headquartered M&A insurance underwriter that is expanding its transactional risk business in the UK.

As part of a strategic growth plan, they are seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer or Big 4 Accountant with strong M&A experience to join their team as a W&I Underwriter.


Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the entire underwriting process, with a focus on UK and Continental Europe, including:

  • Confidentiality agreements
  • Non-binding indications
  • Drafting policies
  • Negotiating contract terms
  • Preparing underwriting requests

• Issue policy documents

• Establish and develop international broker and customer relationships

• Build relationships with law firms in different jurisdictions


Requirements:
• A degree in law, commercial law, business administration, or a relevant M&A environment, such as Corporate finance in the Big 4 or Banking

• Strong customer orientation, decision-making power, and persuasiveness

• High motivation and resilience

• Proven team skills, sense of responsibility, and flexibility
