Job Title: Registered Manager Ofsted Children's Residential Home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-registered children's residential home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

About the Role:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children and young people, prioritizing their safeguarding and well-being.
  • Promote educational attainment and alternative curriculum opportunities, fostering a love of learning and personal growth.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, colleagues, and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead and motivate our staff team, providing supervision and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015, and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
  • Participate in on-call duties and contribute to the management of services, including staff management, care and placement planning, safeguarding, and report writing.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a residential children's home, with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Attainment or working towards a Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory SC2 and fit persons interview with Ofsted.
