Job Summary
Penrose Court Care Home is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to our residents and supporting the overall success of our care home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, taking into account the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
- Manage and coordinate the administration of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration and a strong understanding of clinical best practices.
- Proven experience in a senior nursing role, with a track record of delivering high-quality care and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of £23.50.
- Contracted hours of 39 per week, with opportunities for overtime.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays and weekends.
