The Turning Point Scotland Rehabilitation Support service offers targeted assistance that addresses the intricate and interconnected challenges of criminal behavior and substance misuse. Our service model has been enhanced to incorporate a Throughcare approach.
We have partnered with councils and social work departments across numerous local authorities to provide comprehensive support.
Our asset-based methodology is designed to enhance individual self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence. Personal development and introspection are crucial for individuals as they apply the skills and knowledge gained through our services to maintain their recovery and manage their behaviors.
In your role as a Culinary Specialist, you will engage with individuals facing diverse support needs, offering both practical and emotional assistance while motivating them to achieve their personal objectives in various aspects of daily living, including safety, meaningful engagement, community participation, physical health, relationships, and emotional well-being.
You will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, managing food procurement, compliance with health and safety standards, and adherence to food quality regulations, while also monitoring financial aspects and budgeting.
Your role will involve teaching and supporting our service users in reintegrating into mainstream employment following periods of health challenges, enhancing their confidence and self-esteem while equipping them with new skills, and encouraging them to pursue their personal aspirations.
