Job Description

**Job Title:** Principal Structural Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to lead our structural team and oversee projects valued between £0. This role involves managing a busy structural team and overseeing projects to ensure quality and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, architects, and contractors, and attend client, design, and site meetings.
  • Mentor and develop team members, conduct structural surveys, and analyze structural defects.
  • Develop and implement structural design strategies to ensure quality and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • MEng in Structural Engineering or a related discipline, or a first degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural design across Concrete, Steel, Masonry, and Timber.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with strong problem-solving and technical design abilities.
  • Experience with MasterSeries/Tekla, and demonstrated capability in managing and developing a team.
