Overview:

This position primarily involves the retrieval of overdue payments, facilitating payment arrangements, directing debtors to advisory services, and executing necessary measures for financial recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recover overdue Council Tax and Business Rates
  • Ensure data processing adheres to established regulations and policies
  • Enhance benefit access for qualifying individuals
  • Escalate complex cases to Senior Collection Officers

Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Full-time role, 37 hours per week
  • Standard office hours
  • Hourly wage: £16.49
  • Hybrid work arrangement
  • Previous experience in local authority tax and business rates recovery is essential
