Job Title: Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our design team at Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking full Mechanical Systems Design and working on a variety of projects including Educational, Residential, Commercial, and many more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement company procedures and policy.
  • Undertake mechanical design and assist the project manager with various types of projects in accordance with the company aims and policies.
  • Be part of the design team and provide Mechanical engineering support to all engineers, Senior and Junior.
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings on all aspects of the projects.
  • Carry out surveys and produce reports.
  • Conduct quality inspections of projects.
  • Use CAD systems in line with company procedures.
  • Producing design calculations both manually and using software.
  • Production of manual drawing mark-ups.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills; experience of using Bluebeam / Revit would also be advantageous.
  • Carrying out site surveys.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Mechanical Systems Design.
  • Experience of working in a design team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills.
