Environmental Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Risk Manager to join our Site Solutions team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and managing contaminated land investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
As a Contaminated Land Specialist, you will work closely with colleagues in Ground Engineering, Structures, and Transport departments to deliver multi-disciplinary services to our clients. You will take a lead role in managing and expanding multi-disciplinary client relationships, managing, coaching, and mentoring early career professionals, and financial management and direction of contaminated land projects.
Our Site Solutions team is well known amongst our peers as leaders in sustainable remediation, environmental risk assessment, and PFAS. We are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive work environment, where everyone is able to flourish and reach their potential.
About YouWe are looking for a proactive and responsible leader with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline. You will have a Master's degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous) and full driving license. You will have financial and technical project management experience, project ownership and direction, including project-related health and safety, and experience in working with buildings and infrastructure development teams.
You will be able to develop client-facing trusted advisor relationships, manage workload, deliverables, and resources across multiple projects, and contribute to the Site Solutions financial and non-financial goals. You will also be able to provide senior governance and duties in accordance with Ramboll's competency and governance frameworks.
