Job Title: Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a SEND provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of individual pupils.
  • Promote pupils' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion by working towards outcomes on the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Assist pupils in understanding information presented and support them in accessing the curriculum.
  • Support pupils during transitional points of the day, ensuring they know what to expect.
  • Work closely with relevant therapists to implement interventions and strategies for individual pupils, working towards outcomes on their EHCP.
Requirements:
  • Have obtained a Bachelor of Education degree.
  • Be available to work 5 days a week between 8:30am-15:30pm.
  • Have a real passion for supporting children with special needs.
