Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading e-commerce business to recruit a talented User Experience Engineer (front-end).

**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled UX Engineer to bridge the gap between development and design, focusing on crafting high-quality front-end code while collaborating closely with the wider team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React that align with brand style guides.
  • Work closely with internal agencies to create wireframes, prototypes, and turn them into fully functional web applications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and apply insights to improve the product's user experience, ensuring smooth and pleasant interactions across all devices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write well-documented, scalable, and optimized code for performance.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and modern UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundations.
  • Proficiency in UX design tools like Figma.
  • Critical thinker with a creative mindset, capable of identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and implementing improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Understanding of accessibility and usability concerns and how to address them in web applications.

**What We Offer**
