About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and promote community engagement
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to enhance their social skills and confidence
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care and activities
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive care home environment
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or community setting
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use digital tools to support activity planning and delivery
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and activities
