Position: Duty Manager
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

This position calls for a collaborative individual with a blend of creativity and business acumen, along with the enthusiasm and resolve to enhance and expand the operations alongside the General Manager.

We seek a manager who possesses the expertise to uphold and elevate the standards and reputation of our establishment while fostering a growing community and team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the gym.
  • Take on the duties of the General Manager during their absence.
  • Contribute to achieving the commercial objectives of the business.
  • Ensure operational excellence throughout the facility.
  • Meet and exceed established KPIs.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff, guiding them towards success.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in a management role within the leisure or fitness industry.
  • A strong passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • At least Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is required.
  • Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing initiatives, alongside managing a successful team.
  • Preferably has experience as an Assistant Manager or substantial experience in a similar operational role.
