At Leonardo, we're seeking talented individuals to join our Systems Engineering team as part of our Industrial Placement program. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a Systems Engineering Placement, you'll be part of a team that works closely with leading engineers to design and develop cutting-edge solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and developing practical skills in engineering design, development, and verification.

Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers. We're looking for individuals who share our passion for engineering and are eager to learn and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
  • Develop and apply academic knowledge to undertake various activities across the engineering lifecycle.
  • Work closely with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Capture and manage customer requirements to ensure that our solutions meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions that drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Ongoing undergraduate or postgraduate course in a relevant discipline, including Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM subject.
  • Passion for engineering and a desire to learn and grow with our team.
  • Strong collaboration and inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact with subject matter experts.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience of creating documentation and presentations.
