Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diabetes Specialist Dietitian to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based care to patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized dietary counseling to patients, incorporating behavioral change principles to promote long-term lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of diabetes management and the latest evidence-based guidelines.
  • Conduct group education sessions and presentations on diabetes-related topics, empowering patients with valuable information.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian with the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
  • Experience working in a diabetes service setting.
  • DAFNE training certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
