KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect, develop, and sustain applications utilizing .NET, C#, Azure App Service, and Azure Function Apps.
- Create and maintain high-quality Web APIs and Web Applications using ASP.NET to fulfill business needs.
- Utilize Azure DevOps tools (such as Git Pipelines) for version control, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD).
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests with xUnit or NUnit, and integration tests to guarantee code quality and functionality.
- Manage databases and data access through SQL Server and CosmosDB.
- Employ Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate Azure resource provisioning.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative features.
- Guide junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed on the latest technology trends and best practices in Azure services and .NET development.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on .NET, C#, and Azure services.
- Expertise in building Web APIs and Web Applications using ASP.NET.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Function Apps, and Cosmos DB.
- Strong understanding of database management with SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Solid knowledge of automated testing frameworks like xUnit and NUnit, with the capability to create and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Oversee and guide technical development and implementation aspects of projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex engineering challenges to colleagues and partners.
- Capable of presenting technical issues to leadership, including Director/VP of Architecture & Engineering.
