About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Design Engineer to join our team at Project People. As a Design Authority, you will be responsible for driving cost-effective site design and developing products, guidance, and processes to support this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the design process recognizes compliance issues, current legislation, and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice for all technical design-related matters.
  • Lead negotiations with third parties and form effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop MBNL guidance to supplement developments within the M&E and enclosure space.
  • Communicate the latest developments within MBNL guidance to internal and external parties.
  • Support the Site Design team with queries relating to Concessions and Deviations approval.
Requirements
  • Significant infrastructure design experience with a Designer/PC.
  • Ability to interpret and author documentation to a good standard.
  • Construction knowledge/experience from a consultancy/contractor background.
  • Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literate for MS Word, MS Excel, Emails, and MS PowerPoint.
