Quality Control Supervisor

**Job Summary:**

Adecco is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join a global manufacturer and supplier of flavourings, extracts, and essences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the testing and release of raw materials and finished products, leading a small team of QC technicians, and ensuring good laboratory practices are followed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Supervise and coordinate the work of QC technicians
* Attend daily update meetings and address issues and concerns
* Plan and prioritize work efficiently
* Conduct taste panels and record results
* Manage reject stock and raise non-conformances for quality rejections
* Collaborate with the Analytical team for testing requirements
* Ensure customer requirements for Certificates of Analysis are met
* Suggest improvements to laboratory practices and processes
* Acquire knowledge of materials, products, and test procedures
* Ensure timely external testing and releasing of products
* Manage the process of releasing stock under micro concession
* Support the investigation of complaints and resolve quality issues
* Order consumables for the lab and maintain equipment
* Take on management responsibilities for specific areas of the factory

**Requirements:**

* Food Science Graduate or equivalent with knowledge of QC function
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene management
* Good communication and organization skills
* Supervisory experience (desirable)
* Knowledge of HACCP and quality management systems (desirable)
* Experience in working in a lab environment (desirable)
