Engineering Manager - Stratford, London

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency London Stratford. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment in the hotel, including kitchen and laundry.
  • Ensure that you and the Engineering Team have a thorough knowledge of all plant and equipment in the hotel and maintain these in efficient working order by following routine maintenance procedures in collaboration with the Compliance & Safety Manager.
  • Coordinate and supervise special projects and employment of outside contractors.
  • Liaise with contractors on site to ensure that Permits to Work are completed in compliance with Company Health & Safety procedures.
  • Act as Clerk of Works to regulate work carried out by contractors.
  • Assume full charge of building maintenance and guestroom and public area renovations.
