We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at McGregor Boyall. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in providing effective HR advisory and administration to our clients, assisting the HR People Manager in delivering the HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and develop managers in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues, working with the Trade Union.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee the administration of employment records and related documents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support HR Projects, including recruitment and selection, induction training, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Deliver induction training for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection, including shortlisting, interviewing, and making job offers.
- Act as the primary contact for managers and employees across all people matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Maintain data and management of the HRIS, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Produce Management Information (MI) reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve HR processes.
Requirements:
- Experience within a HR role, HR Advisory or Officer, within a busy working environment.
- Excellent understanding of employment law, including relevant laws and regulations.
- Good understanding of employee relation matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Exposure to Unions and TUPE, with the ability to navigate complex employment law issues.
- HR operational experience, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
- High attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
