Senior Chef de Partie Opportunity

Fortnum & Mason is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our 45 Jermyn St restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their skill set within a fine dining establishment and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Team to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation in the section of responsibility
  • Develop and coach CDPS and Commis Chefs to enhance their skills, leading by example
  • Regularly inspect the Section to maintain high standards, ensuring audits and temperature checks are completed
  • Work closely with Senior Chefs to produce monthly reporting for the Kitchen
  • Partner with the Restaurant team to foster a collaborative relationship between front and back of house
  • Effectively communicate menu information to the teams
  • Demonstrate strong planning, organizing, and time management skills to drive operational execution across the section
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, and standards (e.g. due diligence, cleanliness, and HSE)
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, highlighting any issues to Senior Chefs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie in a fine dining restaurant
  • Willingness to learn and grow, as well as teach others
  • Passion for food and commitment to excellence
  • Excellent longevity with past employers
  • Strong Food Safety standards
