Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our clients in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for the Oil & Gas sector
  • Work with the CAD / Process & Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of designs
  • Carry out hazard analysis, essential safety requirements, and particular material appraisal
  • Complete structural design of skids, including skid frameworks, walkways, and gantries
Requirements:
  • Experience in designing pipework, vessels, and structures for the Oil & Gas sector
  • Proficiency in using 2 out of the following software packages: StaadPro, PV Elite, or Caeser II
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • 12-month contract with an opportunity to extend
