About the Role

The Programme Manager will play a critical role in delivering strategic objectives and driving business growth across the Defence Solutions portfolio. This is a full-time position based at Ashton, Bristol, with hybrid working arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead an internationally based team across various sites, ensuring alignment with company purpose and principles.
  • Empower managers and work stream owners to manage their area of expertise, driving continual innovation and improvement.
  • Develop and nurture key stakeholder relationships (both internal and external) to achieve results and deliver strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, collaborative working relationship with the Ministry of Defence and key supply chain partners.
  • Commercial responsibility within a complex project delivery environment, including profit and loss accounting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Responsible for business growth, improvements, and capability development across the programme.

Requirements

  • A background in leading successful project and programme delivery within a Defence environment.
  • Experience in delivering a programme with staff dispersed across multiple sites within the UK and internationally.
  • A good understanding of the Defence domain, preferably with experience in HF Strategic communications.
  • A track record of developing and nurturing key stakeholder relationships, particularly with the Ministry of Defence.
  • A demonstrable appetite for business growth, capability development, and leading teams.
