About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Services Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Joshua Robert Recruitment. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, providing expert advice and overseeing all aspects of building surveying.
- Conduct Building Surveys and Assessments: Conduct thorough building surveys, condition assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Project Management: Manage refurbishment, renovation, and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. This includes coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on building defects, repairs, and health and safety matters. This includes advising clients on the maintenance, repair, and conservation of buildings, including heritage properties.
- Mentorship and Team Support: Mentor and support junior surveyors, contributing to their professional growth and the success of the team. This includes providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to help junior surveyors reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: MRICS qualified with extensive experience in building surveying.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of building construction, pathology, and compliance.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects and delivering client-focused services.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in relevant surveying software and technology.
