Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs to ensure students receive targeted support and make progress towards their goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills, and monitor and record their progress.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to working with students and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and other staff.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is a plus, but not essential.
