Asset Planner

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Planner to join our team at Müller Milk & Ingredients. As an Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for generating, coordinating, and monitoring effective planning cycles for all planned engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily and weekly maintenance plans to ensure optimal operational effectiveness.
- Own and manage yearly maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Optimize available engineering resources to maintain and improve operational performance.
- Liaise with Engineering stores lead to align job kitting and lead times.
- Maintain effective communication through Performance Management System (PMS).
- Report leading and lagging planning KPIs to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Manage 3rd party planning, including service contracts.
- Act as a key system user for asset structure, new employee training, and document control of new installs (Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS).
- Review PM effectiveness in conjunction with Maintenance Excellence Manager.
- Support the site and departmental 5S program.
- Develop maintenance improvement techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support reliability-centered maintenance and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) activities related to maintenance performance.
- Actively seek to deliver the most cost-effective maintenance planning solution.
- Participate in local site improvement projects to budget.
- Review planned maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Experience in an engineering maintenance team carrying out maintenance in a FMCG environment.
- Team leader experience.
- Knowledge and experience in planning work for adherence to key legislative standards.
- Strong team working, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
