Site Operations Manager

About the Role
Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, supervising teams, and ensuring that work is executed to Time, Quality & Cost.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead site teams and coordinate all site activities to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
- Report to the Installation Manager or as required by deployment.
- Ensure that all site personnel adhere to the site rules and regulations.
Key Tasks
- Work to all applicable Siemens Energy QEHS procedures as briefed in the site induction.
- Lead the teams assigned to all work fronts, ensuring work is executed to Time, Quality & Cost.
- Operate within timescales set out by the site management and highlight potential deviations in advance.
Key Results/Objectives
- Lead by example, adhering to the site rules and regulations.
- Comply with the Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality Plans and know their duties to be discharged in each case.
- Proactively participate in the completion of all task cards allocated to their team.
Requirements
- Apprentice trained, C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 (Appropriate Course) plus 3 years' experience as a supervisor.
- Or degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a supervisor from graduation in an Electricity Supply Industry construction site or similar.
Desirable Qualifications
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Manual Handling.
- Working at Height.
- Fire safety awareness.
- SMSTS.
- IOSH managing safely.
- Client specific qualifications.
Personal Attributes
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient IT Skills, Word, Excel etc.
- Proactive attitude to support site initiatives and in communication with site management and fellow team members.
- Proactive attitude to problem solving.
- Good at leading site teams, including creating and maintaining relationships.
- Positive attitude to support conflict resolution.
