As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions at systems level and taking on detailed electronic design work with a creative outlook to realise concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic systems and products, including analogue and digital circuit design and embedded systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver designs into service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement design solutions, leveraging expertise in FPGA, high-end CPUs, and SoCs.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of key embedded technologies, including high-speed communication techniques and DDRx memory.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electronics hardware design, with a strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design and embedded systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of FPGA, high-end CPUs, and SoCs, as well as high-speed communication techniques and DDRx memory.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver designs into service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.

  • Competitive salary in the region of £60,000 - £85,000 dependent on experience.
