We are looking for motivated Childcare Support Specialists in Lancaster, available Monday to Friday for flexible roles. Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £13-£14 while having the freedom to choose your workdays.

In your role as a Childcare Support Specialist, you will play a vital part in establishing a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for young learners, promoting their growth through engaging and educational activities. Candidates with a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education, an NVQ or CACHE certificate, and relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Permanent positions may be available for the right individuals, making this agency role an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

Your Responsibilities as a Childcare Support Specialist will include:

  • Assisting educators with lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
  • Designing and implementing creative activities for children.
  • Teaching essential life skills such as hygiene and social etiquette.
  • Communicating effectively with children, staff, and parents as needed.
  • Adapting your support to meet the diverse needs of children.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working with children, with references from two professional contacts.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and understanding.
  • CACHE Level 2/3 or direct nursery experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
