About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor for Oncology to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Oncology Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist medical care to patients with cancer and blood disorders
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Teach and mentor junior medical staff
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications
  • Experience in oncology and general medical practice
  • Ability to prescribe systemic anticancer therapies (SACT)
  • Strong clinical skills and judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
