Required Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in the UK working on drainage design projects across public, private, or third sectors.
  • Proficiency in UK standards including DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Streets, MCHW, CDM, and local authority regulations.
  • Capability to design all facets of drainage from initial concept through to detailed design.
  • Experience with drainage design interfaces, including highways, rail, geotechnical, environmental, and structural elements.
  • Ability to compile reports and specifications, along with gathering and analyzing data and statistics for progress and technical reporting.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within and outside the region.
  • A relevant qualification in an Engineering or Technical discipline, or equivalent experience in the UK.
  • Progressing towards professional membership or accreditation with a recognized industry body.
  • Legal authorization to work in the UK.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software such as Micro Drainage.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, or similar design software.
  • Knowledge of 3D design tools and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Experience with S278, S38, S104, and S106 design and applications.
