Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk modeling department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced models to assess and manage credit risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development and Implementation
    • Design and develop complex credit risk models, including probability of default, exposure at default, and loss given default models.
    • Implement models in a bank's operating environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, primarily UK (PRA) or EU (EBA/ECB) based regulation.
  • Data Analysis and Manipulation
    • Proficiently manipulate large data sets, preferably in Python, to extract insights and inform credit risk modeling decisions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Programming Languages
    • Proficiency in Python, SAS, and/or SQL, with experience in implementing models in a bank's operating environment.
  • English Language Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
