Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet the varied educational needs of our students, creating a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
  • Behaviour Management: Utilize a range of behaviour management strategies aligned with our school's policies to create a positive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development.
  • Discipline and Support: Maintain discipline and foster an orderly, supportive atmosphere that helps students overcome barriers to learning, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Observe, monitor, and evaluate student responses through a range of assessment strategies, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Inclusion and Welfare: Promote the inclusion of all students, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and grow, and take an active role in promoting and safeguarding their welfare.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Displays empathy and patience when working with students who exhibit challenging behaviours.
  • Has a natural ability to problem-solve and manage/modify pupil behaviour effectively.
  • Is organized, flexible, resilient, and physically fit.
  • Has a down-to-earth sense of humour and a positive attitude towards the challenges of working with SEN students.
