Job Title: Finance Operations Billing Supervisor

Norton Rose Fulbright LLP is seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Billing Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of bill preparation, production, and support to our Revenue teams across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop the Finance Operations Billing Team, providing ongoing training, support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the onboarding and embedding of new team members and phases, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the London Revenue Team Managers to escalate issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage team performance and behaviors, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the Team Manager in taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality work delivery, measuring quality and minimizing reissues of drafts and bills.
  • Contribute to driving down lock-up for the business by supporting the revenue team.
Requirements:
  • A team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a finance or business services environment.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong Microsoft Office application experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage change and support teams through future changes.
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures that support people, performance, and behaviors.
