Job Description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

GivEnergy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our commercial energy storage systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and that our systems are installed and functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial energy storage systems
  • Testing and commissioning of systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Identification and resolution of potential issues with equipment
  • On-site training to new and existing installers or distributors
  • Pre-sales site surveys of potential commercial installation sites
  • Ownership and liaison with 3rd party suppliers/manufacturers/contractors

Requirements:

  • Full UK (or equivalent) driving license
  • Electrical competence, or an electrical background
  • 18th Edition (or up to date equivalent electrical qualification) and be a qualified electrician (CSCS card preferred)
  • Good level of commercial electrician experience
  • Happy to travel, with potential for overnight stays and night/weekend work due to nature of sites
  • Experience or a passion for the Renewable Energy industry
  • Efficient planning and organisation capability
